• GPS location data (only when you use the app and grant permission)
• Order history and activity within the app
• Push notification tokens for order updates

Information from third parties

• Google Maps and Google Places for address lookup and navigation
• Yoco for payment processing

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Process and deliver your food orders
• Send you real-time order status notifications
• Calculate delivery fees based on your location
• Assign drivers to your delivery area
• Improve the app and our service
• Respond to support requests
• Comply with legal obligations

3. Location Data

The App requests access to your device's location to:

• Auto-fill your delivery address
• Calculate the correct delivery zone and fee
• Allow drivers to navigate to your delivery address
• Assign the nearest available driver

Location data is only accessed when you are actively using the App. We do not track your location in the background.

4. How We Share Your Information

We share your information only as necessary to deliver our service:

• Store owners receive your name, phone number, delivery address, and order details to prepare and fulfil your order
• Drivers receive your delivery address and phone number to complete your delivery
• Yoco receives payment information to process transactions securely
• Google receives address queries for Maps and Places services

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider with industry-standard encryption. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the details below.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Withdraw consent for location access at any time via your device settings
• Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Push Notifications

We send push notifications for order status updates (order confirmed, preparing, ready, out for delivery, delivered). You can disable push notifications at any time in your device settings.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this policy. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
